Welcome to WCMS Measurement Entry Assistant (“Extension”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WCMS Measurement Entry Assistant browser extension, website, subscription services, and related features.

By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

WCMS Measurement Entry Assistant is a productivity and data-entry assistance tool designed to assist users with measurement-related data entry and related workflows.

The Service is intended to assist users and does not replace the user's professional judgment, verification, approval, or responsibility.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all information processed, imported, calculated, generated, or entered using the Service.

Before relying upon or submitting any information, you must independently verify measurements, quantities, rates, calculations, units, dates, work details, contractor or agency information, and any other information entered or generated through the Service.

The Service is an assistance tool and should not be treated as a substitute for official records, departmental procedures, applicable rules, manuals, technical standards, approvals, or professional judgment.

You remain fully responsible for any final entry, record, bill, measurement, statement, report, or submission made using information assisted by the Service.

3. No Official Government Affiliation

WCMS Measurement Entry Assistant is an independently developed software tool.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Service is not an official Government of India, Indian Railways, Railway Board, or departmental application and is not represented as being owned, operated, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by any government department or organization.

References to WCMS, railway systems, departmental workflows, manuals, forms, or related terminology are provided only to describe the intended use and functionality of the Service.

Users must always follow the applicable official departmental instructions and systems.

4. Accuracy and Verification

We make reasonable efforts to provide reliable functionality; however, we do not guarantee that every calculation will always be error-free, imported data will always be complete or accurate, the Service will always operate without interruption, the Service will always be compatible with every version of a third-party website or application, or changes to third-party websites or systems will not affect functionality.

The user must verify all results before using them for official, financial, contractual, engineering, administrative, or other consequential purposes.

5. Pro Subscription

Certain features may require an active Pro subscription.

Prices, plans, features, discounts, taxes where applicable, and promotional offers may be changed from time to time. The price applicable to your purchase will be displayed before payment.

Pro access is granted only after successful payment and successful verification of the subscription by our systems.

6. Free Trial

Eligible users may receive a one-time 7-day free trial of Pro features. The trial is activated after the user's first successful mobile OTP verification when no active paid subscription exists.

Trial eligibility and the trial period are recorded on the Service's server and are associated with the verified account. Uninstalling or reinstalling the Extension, clearing browser storage, changing browsers, or using another device does not restart an already-used trial.

At the end of the 7-day trial, Pro features may be restricted unless the user purchases an applicable subscription. No payment is required to start the free trial unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of activation.

7. Subscription Period and Access

A subscription provides access to eligible Pro features for the applicable subscription period.

Subscription access may be associated with the user's registered mobile number, account, session, browser extension, or other authentication mechanism used by the Service.

You must not share your account credentials, OTPs, authentication information, or Pro access with other persons.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe that an account or subscription is being misused, shared, manipulated, fraudulently obtained, or used in violation of these Terms.

8. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers.

We do not store complete payment-card information unless expressly stated in our applicable privacy documentation.

Payment processing may be subject to the terms, privacy policies, and security procedures of the applicable payment provider.

You agree to provide accurate information necessary to complete a transaction.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Subscription cancellation and refund eligibility will be governed by the refund policy displayed at the time of purchase and applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, cancellation of a subscription does not automatically entitle the user to a refund for a period that has already commenced.

Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the applicable payment method or payment provider, subject to the provider's procedures.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

10. Promotional Offers

We may occasionally provide promotional pricing, discounts, trial periods, coupons, or other offers. Promotional offers may have separate eligibility requirements, validity periods, or conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers and have no cash value.

11. License to Use the Extension

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription where applicable, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for your own lawful purposes.

You may not copy or redistribute the Extension; sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute it; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by applicable law; circumvent subscription or authentication controls; modify or tamper with license verification mechanisms; share Pro access with unauthorized users; use the Service for unlawful purposes; or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

12. Intellectual Property

The Extension, website, software, source code, design, user interface, branding, logos, documentation, and other original materials associated with the Service are owned by or licensed to the Service owner unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights to you. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Service may interact with or depend upon third-party websites, browser functionality, payment providers, authentication services, hosting providers, APIs, or other third-party services.

Third-party services may change their functionality, access requirements, security mechanisms, or policies without notice. We are not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions, or failures caused solely by third-party services.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Website and System Changes

We may modify, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service from time to time.

Updates may be required to maintain compatibility, security, performance, or functionality. Users may need to install or receive an updated version to continue using certain features.

15. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and functional, but continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The Service may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, server or hosting issues, network failures, browser changes, third-party service failures, security incidents, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Data and Privacy

We may process information necessary to provide authentication, subscription verification, account management, security, support, and Service functionality.

The handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Users should not intentionally submit sensitive, confidential, classified, or otherwise restricted information through the Service unless such use is expressly supported and permitted.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable departmental, organizational, contractual, and legal requirements.

17. Security

You must take reasonable steps to protect your account and authentication information.

You should not share OTPs, passwords, authentication tokens, or other security credentials.

If you believe that your account or authentication credentials have been compromised, you should use the available support channel as soon as reasonably possible.

18. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to commit or facilitate unlawful activity, circumvent subscription controls, gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, distribute malware or malicious code, interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, misrepresent your identity or authorization, abuse automated systems or APIs, or violate the rights of other users or third parties.

19. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet every user's requirements or that every feature will operate without errors or interruptions.

In particular, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or correctness of information entered, imported, calculated, transformed, or generated using the Service.

The user must independently verify information before relying upon it.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

This may include loss arising from incorrect data entry, incorrect calculations, incorrect measurements or quantities, incorrect submissions, loss of data, service interruption, third-party system changes, or unauthorized access caused by the user's failure to protect credentials.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or excludes rights where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or infringement of third-party rights.

This provision does not limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

22. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms, attempt to bypass subscription or authentication controls, engage in fraudulent activity, create a security risk, are required to do so by applicable law or legal process, or if the Service is discontinued.

Where reasonably possible, we may provide notice before termination, except where immediate action is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the Service.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the website, Service, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

24. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove, restrict, or waive any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

The Service will comply with applicable consumer-protection requirements.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and mandatory legal rights, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation Policy, and any additional terms expressly presented during purchase or use of specific features, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Service.

By using WCMS Measurement Entry Assistant, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them.
